Mac clicked on her T.V. hoping to find a boring late night movie to put her to sleep. There wasn't some late night movie on, the show Star Trek Voyager was just starting. She decided to watch it because she figured it would help her past the time until it was time to go to work.
The episode she watched was actually fairly interesting. One of the main characters, a woman named B'Elanna was having a bad day. Her day like Mac's had been one of those days.
Towards the end of the episode B'Elanna was floating in space with a cocky pilot by the name of Tom. When they had only a few seconds left of air, B'Elanna told Tom something that could have a profound affect on their lives.
After the episode Mac tuned off the T.V. and called a certain cocky pilot she knew and told him something that could have a profound affect on their lives.
